Good lord it's great to be back on here again! Monday night my city of Quincy located in Illinois suffered some brutal weather. We had 70-80 mph wind gusts that caused quite a bit of damage. It quite literally looked like a tornado rolled on through. It knocked power out for over 22,000 homes here. It took 28 hours and 45 minutes to get my power and Internet back on, with some people just getting their power back on today. When I get time I'll post the damage photos. I guess the storm was so bad that Quincy even made CNN. One thing I've learned this week is that I'm definitely not meant to be Amish. Lol! Oh and not take things for granted as well. Though like I said photos will come later when I get the chance to upload them to photobucket.
